LS Air Intake Pics?

Anybody have any LS swap air intake pics? I'm getting close on the install and I was wondering how you guys routed your air tubes? Thanks

First beautiful truck!

You might have better luck posting this question in the LS swap area. I'm trying to figure out how to run my cold air intake right now. I will post up some pictures when I get it figured out.

You def will have better luck in the LS section. FWIW, here's a video I did about building my cold air box, and it shows the intake we used and the changes we made.

Re: LS Air Intake Pics?

Here's one I seen at a car show Saturday. You'd have to relocate the battery.

Re: LS Air Intake Pics?

I ran mine down to where battery used to be, moved battery to drivers side. Used 4 inch semi exhaust pipe 90's cut and trimmed, welded to fit with K&N cone filter. Used straight rubber sleeve and 2 heavey clamps to connect to TB on 2005 5.3 in 68 Chevy C20. Look at my build pics.

Re: LS Air Intake Pics?

I didn't. Just put a cone filter on the throttle body. I'm running speed density, so there's no MAF.

Thumbs up Re: LS Air Intake Pics?

I used it on my 305 TPI motor and now on the 6.0 Ls motor.

Caddy air box modified by me. 4" ninty with 2 couplings from Lowes mounted on the radiator support where the old voltage regulator went.
Some day I'll modify the top so I can run a solid tube over to the intake.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: LS Air Intake Pics?

I didn't do the LS swap in my truck, but for my Nova I bought a different elbow and sent the intake under the hose, not over.
