I know that the distributor gears changed on the computer controlled distributor. I have a 350 from an 89 G30 that i am changing from tbi to carb, is there an oem HEI distributor that i can use for this engine?

Any of them should work even the spark controlled ones if you hook the black and white wire together to bypass the spark knock thingy, or change out the module for an earlier one. Why would the dist gear be different? The 89TBI motors didn't have a roller cam, none of the TBI motors did.
