Re: His 1969 Stepside build
I have also been gathering info and parts for a single turbo. I'm undecided whether to do it now or wait until the first winter after getting in all together. If you guys remember, I'm in a small hurry to finish so my good friends wife can see it before something happens to her. Also scored some fender wells from a fleet side to do some tubs on my step side bed. More pics (And PROGRESS!!!!) soon!!

Re: His 1969 Stepside build
Back to work! It's been a crazy busy Summer, but it allowed me to save up some cash to work on the truck hot and heavy all winter. Changing directions a little bit and am doing a turbo set up. I had planned on doing this later maybe the first winter after the truck was complete but have decided to just do it now. Been reading and researching nonstop trying to learn all I can. I'm copying the famous Matt Happel (sloppy mechanics, Denmah) type of build like he's famous for over on ls1tech.com
Still waiting on fuel cell, fuel lines, pump, and some other junk to show up so I can get started back on it next week. I'm ready!! More soon-- |
