Rear End Question For Leaf Spring Truck
Is a 73-87 C10 rearend a direct replacement for a 71-72 Leaf spring truck? Tried a search with absolutely no success.

The shock mounts are different on the 71-72 rearends.
The width should be close.

Spring pads should be in the right spot for a 2x4. 67-72 4x4 trucks have same spacing as 73-87 (91) 1 ton trucks, 40.5"
The 67-72 two wheel drive is 42.5", same for all 1500-2500 trucks 2 and 4 wheel drive. Shock mounts are different and the spring pads are for 2 1/2" wide springs adn not 2 1/4" but that's no real big deal.
