I found out I have a later model (longer axle)spring coil 70 model rearend in my 67.The numbers on the RE confirmed it.I have a 72 GMC parts truck that has a leaf spring RE.
I am in the process of converting my 67 to front disc brakes.If I decide to get a 5 lug front brake kit will the 5 lug rear axles out of the 72 GMC work in my 70 model RE?
