No sir I didn't drop off I work in Alaska and my truck is at my house in North Carolina so i get very limited time to play with it. I've gone pretty far for only having 100 hours into this build.

I live in Ak and am staring a swap of our 72’ c-10 to a 07’ Escalade. Would love to talk to you about your project. We are pulling the Escalade body off in the next couple weeks.

Just seeing this thread. Howly kwap. the OP put a freaking C10 on a tahoe chassis in less time than I have just in adjusting my electric choke. You kidding me?

Yes our builds are similar in the fact we both used tahoe chassis and running gear! It'd be cool to see yours done someday

Just curious if there's been any further progress/status updates to report? It's been over a year, so I was wondering how it's holding up and riding for you on the newer chassis?

Working in Alaska?

(speaking from back of closed mouth) 'eeh'EE? Gussack got jug? I kid....' Enter nervous laugh, the handshake that can only come from one place. The smell of fish surrounding.

Where bout in AK? I've bounced all over, up there. My daily driver, when I'm working....

Re: 1972 c10 om 2001 tahoe 4x4 chassis

Can you post some more pictures and details on what you did with the radiator core support, hood latch, headlight buckets, etc? and how you attatched the fenders? thanks

I used the Tahoe core-support and used parts of the 72 support for the fenders. I didn't like the way it turned out so I'm going to redo it and just use a 1972 core-support

that gap would have been considered excellent by GM standards. If the gap is even the whole way down (or as close as you can get it), and the body lines line up, you just have to call it done. If you got every gap on these trucks perfect you would spend a solid month just on the panel allignment.
