Grounds on a 71 c10???

I've got a 71 c10 longbed w turn signals that don't work. I've read and heard a lot about the grounds but I don't know where they all are or where they connect? The headlights, brake lights work. The reverse lights aren't installed yet so not sure about those. Please help! This is the last thing I need before I take it to emissions. I've replaced turn signal switch and the fuses on the fuse box.

Talking Re: Grounds on a 71 c10???

Like the picture I sent you not long ago, I'll post it again just to help out, the first ground lug you will find, is right by the voltage regulator, maybe by the horns....you'll find some smaller ones next to each head lamp, I know that on my '71,
The turn signal/park lamps have a two piece plug that goes through the radiator support, and the turn signal/park lamp plugs, insert into that plug from the opposite side.check to make sure these are inserted correctly, and there are no broken wires. If you have a test light, see if there is power to one side of these plugs.
Hope this helps.

Question Re: Grounds on a 71 c10???

A couple of question to get a better idea of what you mean don't work:

#1 you turn the signles on and no dash lights but outside lights flashing?

#2 You turn signles on and dash light works but no front are rear lights work?

#3 Do the side marker in front work? Do they flash with turn signles?

#4 you get nothing at all!

The first thing is to check is the housing front and back. They ground through the attachment points with the screw and bolts that hold them in place. Trust me they want work if they have paint on them.
Adding ground cables is a good idea.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Just re read your post again.

Did you check the flashers in the fuse panel?
This link has some good info also with wires.
