CPP VS GM Car Front Brakes

I plan on a dropped axle and will change to front discs when that is all apart. I see that CPP has a kit that includes everything and utilizes the stock spindle with several choices on bolt pattern.

I also understand 54 Chevy car spindles can be used too. Is their a reason to go with the car spindles and covert those to disc's, or is the CPP system a good choice?

I used the kit from Speedway on my solid axle. Super easy to install and worked great.

You could also just buy the brake caliper mounts and source the remainder of the parts at a junk yard or local Auto Parts Store.

THanks Coach!

That looks like a pretty good price too. What master cylinder did you go to?

I'd be looking hard at that Speedway kit deal. Hard to beat because it's complete including hoses. CPP? not so much.

I do not recall exactly where I sourced it from. It is a dual MC with a Prop Valve. Similar to the LMC 37-8553.

See what "kind" of brakes they are. My CPP kit of a couple years ago used S10 brakes.
