Red vs. Bright Red - Seats
It's time to buy covers for the 67 Buddy Buckets (going in my 64). I'm looking for the difference between the "Red" and "Bright Red" listed by the vendors. None of the vendors have pics that I've found...
Here's a pic of the Bright Red. Anyone have pics of the Red? (this set belongs to gonnuts) |

I'm sorry, but I'm not talking to you until you get back on that Tahoe!
I actually don't know, though!

Re: Red vs. Bright Red - Seats
Please correct me if I'm wrong. I thought the only color red that came in these trucks was the color red that is in the above pic. I'm curious too

Re: Red vs. Bright Red - Seats
Look on Early Classic website at the 68 truck they built yrs ago. I think if has a 2 tone cover. Think the other red is kinda oxblood color.

Couldn't find the Ox Blood red on the Early Classic site. What was the name of the project? Maybe this is it? |

Re: Red vs. Bright Red - Seats
They are very close shades. You almost need both side by side to tell. I see a touch of Orange in the Bright Red while the Red is a more pure Red. I can also see why it's called "bright",cuz it's brighter

I'm planning on running matching red in the body side trim. The pure "red" might be the way to go. |

Re: Red vs. Bright Red - Seats
What's brighter than Red? Bright Red?
What's brighter than Bright Red? Adrenaline Red! Not far off the color of the very top 67/68 buckets, but the lighting could be different.
