Cab leak

Started after i replaced the antenna. Ive put three antennas on the darn thing and used silicon to seal it up while even taking the cowl piece off and sealing it really well. The picture shows where it likes to leak from and its ran down the antenna wire too but now its not. Any ideas? Its sitting out in the rain with about ten towl stuffed down there. Thanks!
Also there is just one drip you can see in the pic but i assure you it gets worse as i drive it.

Re: Cab leak

I would double check the underside of the cowl from inside the cab. There is a seam on either end that is partially covered with a felt-like seal tape. The seams are caulking is prone to leaking and this is a common area for leakage and rust.

Re: Cab leak

I had the same problem.

Took off my cowl and scraped out all the cracks and filled them with seam sealer. I also filled the antenna cable hole.

This was recommended to me by the board and it worked great. Now I just have to get the windshield to stop leaking.
