radiator/350
I have a 53 GMC 1/2 ton with new 350/turbo350.I have a good original rad but the hose connections are smaller. Can I solder bigger connections in rad. I see new rads for chevy trucks., will they fit my GMC. I using shroud and a seven blade mechanical fan. What is my best option. Thanks

Re: radiator/350
I have read the stock rad can cool a 350. I would take it to a rad shop and get it tested out to check its condition and may be able to determine its cooling capacity for you. They should be able to put larger ports on it no problem.

ergrides, I notice that you're posting general questions in the Projects & Builds sections.
I moved this into the 47-59 Message Board. The Projects & Builds sections are for posting your ongoing project, start to finish. You'll get more replies if you ask question in the proper forum. Thanks.
