Thinking was different back then. ALL thinking!!! Shoot a 396 with a 4 BBl carb, that would sound nearly suicidal, to some.
I'd heard of some large cars (Impala, Bel Air) that had 396 2 Bbl's, I even own a big block 2 Bbl intake, but had not yet heard of or seen a 2 Bbl 396 pickup. My 68 had a Q-jet on it. I'm going to ask my Pontiac Buddy's about the 421 2 Bbl deal, I'm not a naysayer, just curious... |
