Re: Northeimcustom '83

also, have you looked into the Porterbuilt forward series control arms. they are the best bang for your buck in the front end. they literally came out right after I got my last truck done and would have save me probably a grand. in parts and labor.

Nice truck man, love the wheels and the yellow killer. What size of wheels and tires are you running and are you having any clearance issues?

Re: Northeimcustom '83

Thanks! i wish i could afford some porterbuilt stuff, but not sure how long im going to hold on to this project....

255s in front and 295s in back....

the only clearance issue i have is too much space between the ground and the rockers

And the worst..... Three sides of my siding and the roof all damage...

But so thankful me or the fiancee or doggie were perfectly safe..... and the pickup too! Can't imagine the house leveling storms down south.....

I really dig how slammed it is. Did the back require the helper bags? I wanna go that low but can't afford helper bags, nor do I want helper bags! Anyways good looking truck!

Re: Northeimcustom '83

the rear is called air over leaf. i dont have many miles on it as we speak but i hope that changes this summer. As far as i remember it road ok, kind of bouncy as i had the rear bags on a tee schrader valve running with not much air.

i am currently mounting my viairs and tank and accuair switchspeed stuff to further complete my setup.

i recently thought that i should put some chrome body molding on.... what do you all think??
