Wiring Harness??

77 C10. Does anyone have a pic of the wire routing from the firewall to back of truck? I assume the harness runs along the inside of the frame along the drivers side? Thanks

Re: Wiring Harness??

I am about to run my wires to the back. I am going to run along the inside of the frame and hang them with self taping screws to the frame.

Re: Wiring Harness??

I don't have a photo, but if I remember correctly, the rear light harness comes down from the firewall and runs along the outside of the frame to keep it away from the exhaust. Then it crosses over the top of the frame just behind the rear cab mount and runs the rest of the way back along the inside of the frame.

Re: Wiring Harness??

On my 76 K5, the tail light wiring ran down the inside of the drivers side frame rail. The gas gauge wire ran on the inside of the passenger side frame rail.
