Hey all, just wondering what size lift people are using on there 67-72 Blazer's/Truck, that will fit 38" tall tire's??

I have 38-13-16" TSL's on my '72 k-20. I have appx. 5" suspension & 3" body. No rubbing unless I am twisted up or wheeling hard. It really needs another 1-2" of lift IMO.

Not 38" tires but here's my setup (which will rub when flexed) so it might help you decide how much lift you might need.

8" suspension lift, no body lift, 35x14.5x15 tires on 15x14 wheels.

1972C10, does your friend have crossover steering? or is he still running the stock stuff? if he's running crossover, why didnt he move the front axle out a bit? that's definitely not centered in the wheelwell anymore.

I think the wheels are turned in that picture. That is why they don't look centered. I had a 79 with 8in lift and 38x15.50x15 gumbo mudder radials. They only hit if I hit a hole going way to fast. Great riding tire, very smooth but expensive.

Hi all, well I bit the bullet today. I just order a 8" lift (leaf spring front & rear) for my 72 Blazer.. I can't wait to get it installed (hopefully this weekend)..

When I'am done I will post some step by step photo's!!

Im not really aware of what crossover steering is He has a spacer for lifter vehicles that goes enbetween the drag link and the front diff (dana 60) then the bar that goes from wheel to wheel

And the wheel was turned a little

Hawgs are in like new condition, one of them is BRAND NEW, never mounted and the other three are about 98%...basically new.
All in EXCELLENT shape.

I wanna see pics too when you are done. I love trucks with 38-40 inch tires.

I think 11 inches would be ok but not for hard wheeling. I have 9 inches and my PJ's will rub on medium wheeling.

Well it's DONE!!!!!!!

Its a Skyjacker 8" soft ride. Full spring's front/back, pitmen arm, steering arm, steel braided brake lines (not skyjacker), Skyjacker 7000 shocks.

Tally cost $1050.00

Kind of spendy, but I didn't what to blocks in the rear.

Ride's really smooth.

The drive line was Stretched by a local shop in town.

I will post so pics later on this week..
