Our little punkin 72 gmc swb 4x4

This is a start of a new project and have a few questions.
Engine code E RPO LS9 I know there are several other RPO V8s what are the specs for each.
What is the meaning of production number 515009.
The complete vin TKE142Z515009

I'm new here myself, but I do know the 515009 in your trucks line #.

Other will chime in with the rest. Or you could look up a VIN decoder, Google is your friend...

thanks for the reply I used the vin decoder but it did not give any information other that it was the production code my question what do the numbers mean

It means that your truck was #15009 off the production line.
