15 inch tire and wheel combos only

So I was looking at an old thread and was thinking Id love to see some more pics of our trucks like this. I personally prefer a more "traditional" look to our rides. I know the hobby has moved away from that, but if you have 15 inch rims please post up ... Rim size, tire size, and drop (if you have one).

Here is the old thread I found ... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=350830&page=2

Please keep it to 15 inch ... No "Here are my 17's they are just a little bigger"

Re: 15 inch tire and wheel combos only

Here's mine, fronts are 235/60/15 and back is 255/60/15. I bought it like this but I'm not sure I like the tire size, they aren't tall enough. Kinda looks like PO wanted it lower but didn't want to actually lower it lol

Re: 15 inch tire and wheel combos only

15" rallys, I assume 8" wide. 275/60/15 all around. Drop is ECE 4.5/6.25. Front tire rubs sometimes over bumps so I'd go with 255's up front next time.

Re: 15 inch tire and wheel combos only

Here you go...

The blue Super is 32x11.5 on 15" rallies at stock height. Looking to swap to steelies soon.

The orange one was 33x10.5 BFG's on 15" rallies with a 2.5" lift. No idea what it is now, haven't seen it since I sold it last year. Hopefully it's still on the road.

Re: 15 inch tire and wheel combos only

Here's my 1969 Suburban lowered 3.5 inches front and 2 inches rear with P235/70 all around. I plan on adding one inch lowering blocks in back to even it out a little more.

Not to put the cow be for the milk. But i be more on looking for a body man before wheels. But for the guy looking for the rims that really stick out and go well with there trucks are the American Racing D rims that some call them or the old Nascar rims but there where the true 70's rims

sorry no close up pics of the rims on my 1967 3 door but mine onlt has that one spot of cancer rocker and little inner floor Rims are 15x7 the rear is a 15x8 with a 10 inch tire that fits well

I needed new rims when I switched from six lug to five and adding disc brakes!!
Don't worry, the body will get done.

Corvette style rallye wheels - left them Argent silver with the metal caps - 3
inch smooth rings around 15x8s in the back (275-60s) and 2 inch smooth rings around 15x7s (235-70s) in the front.

Fronts are 235/70 and rear is 255/70. Wheels are 15s, wider in the back. My truck isn't stock height. I lowered it 2" in the front and 4" in the back. Radial TAs range from $125-$160 a tire around here. You can find a cheaper tire and get a similar look.
