Anti-sway bars

I put a Ride Tech coil over complete kit on my truck about 6 months ago. It did not come with the sway bars. I liked the new ride (not so much the lowering) but anyways it just didn't seem right. So last month I bought the front and rear sway bars that go with the kit. Holy hell, the ride is night and day, it is amazing now. I post this because I think if you have a stock suspension and add sway bars to it it would change your ride completely. Has anyone put sway bars on a stock suspension and had dramatic changes (positive) in their ride? Please share because I think alot of people could benefit from your input.

P.S. I drove it with just the front ones installed and it was 100 times better. I don't even know if the rear ones helped but I know they didn't hurt lol.

Re: Anti-sway bars

Agreed. Sway bars are a huge help to a stock truck.
I put sway bars on front and rear after a static drop, 2 front/5 rear and it was like night and day.
Then I bagged it to ride even lower and smoother and that was night and day.

Re: Anti-sway bars

There is just no way to have suspension stiff enough and have any kind of ride quality, the sway bar is the only way to go, it's not even compareable, I wouldn't drive my truck without it, possibly for a stock 200hp putz around, but not when you are pushing good HP and moving at speeds beyond what the stock application was intended for.

Re: Anti-sway bars

I put a factory bar on mine years ago, one of the best things I ever did. As stated before, the handling difference is night and day.
