1970 chevelle exhaust manifolds - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Any idea if these will fit? Using factory, 1972 BB truck mounts on a 454 engine. Engine has 68-70 Chevelle/Camaro BB manifolds. I assume trucks had specific manifolds.

Here is what mine look like in my 67. I had a sbc hooked to a 350 turbo and a NP208 transfer case. I left all of these in the same positions and moved my bbc mounts forward to allow the bbc. This gave me valve cover clearance but I did have to raise the bbc on the bbc mounts 1/2 inch. I used the expensive bbc mounts on the motor - pre 72. My manifolds are not 1968 c/k10 396 - but later years similar to your chevelle's.
Mine dump same as yours.

I trimmed my sbc fan shroud to fit the fan on the bbc. My alternator runs directly off the 1 of the 2 groove pulley on the power steering pump. Yours may not.

I'm pretty sure those Chevelle manifolds are the same as the truck ones. At least the '73 and up ones. I don't remember precisely what my '70 402 GMC manifold looked like.
