leaf spring help needed

hi i have an 84 c10 the previous owner lowered it ,in the rear it had 56" springs and he axle flipped them and removed a few leafs (there are 3/1 now). the truck walks in the rear on potholes and rough road like old springs would(im sure its because he removed the leafs) my options are add a leaf to it,firestone air bag helpers or new leafs (they only come 8/1 in 56" so id have to remove a couple as i dont mind it sitting an inch or 2 higher but not more. what would be easiest and solve the issue. thanks for any help!!!!

Cheapest would be add leafs back in. Junkyard has to be full of those models.

You might see if new shocks would tone it down? Is it sitting on the stops or has it been notched? Sitting on the stops would cause that too.....
