Chevy/GMC Mediums with Detroit Diesel 4-53?
How many of you still own a Chevrolet or GMC medium truck (models C/M60, C/M65 and C/M70 for Chevy, and models C/M6000, C/M6500 and C/M7000 for GMC) built from 1962 to 1980 that came with a Detroit Diesel 4-53N or 4-53T engine?
From 1978 to 1980 this engine was turbocharged: it made 170 hp @ 2500 rpm and 402 lb/ft of torque @ 1700 rpm. ~Ben |

Re: Chevy/GMC Mediums with Detroit Diesel 4-53?
Sounds like a good topic for "Heavy Hauler" forum. I do know of a member here who put a 4-53T (I think) in a '69 C/30 pickup
