Love it! So clean looking and unadorned. Looks like it's 1000 pounds lighter than mine just due to color, trim, mirrors, shortbox, and so on!

Thanks fellow members. There are a lot of nice trucks out there and I thank you for the votes and compliments. I joined this forum in 2004 after I bought the truck for $1000 dollars in Keller, TX when I lived in Flower Mound, TX. The Dallas Ft Worth area just became involved with EPA testing and I could not get my 1986 Toyota swb 4wd with a 283 sbc/350 turbo/205np to pass emissions --so I looked at a 64, 65, and my 67 swb. I have had every bolt out of it and slowly transformed it to a nice driver - full functional truck. I have one more item to change -- the 350 turbo for a 700r4. The bbc's like overdrives.

I do not remember too many build threads back in 03,04,05 but probably were some. Most us us were hunting parts that would work, aftermarket was not as plentiful as now. They made no grill or swbed floor for a 67 swb when I was building it, so I pieced 2 grills to get a good one. Then later went to the Decatur, TX spring swap meet and bought a perfect one for $15 --still have it.
