thanks Modge....yes a ton of work..lol. But I wanted to do something that I hadn't seen yet and was on the fence on whether to use the bed kit I had or do a sheet metal floor....so this is what I came up with. I will be posting some more pics soon!!!

Re: 65 C10 SWFS BBW "Clyde" @Poypeyes Rod Shop
Got the Flex A Lite Trans Cooler and the A/C Condenser and Dryer mocked up in place
mad dash pic....this is just a few days before we left for SEMA went with a Lokar Nostalgia Floor Shifter getting the motor ready to fire went with these cool little controls that Vintage Air Offers Got the windows in.....this was no easy task This was one of the best investments I made......by far....I advise anyone to annie up and get this kit from totally stainless hanging of the sheetmetal access panel that we came up with for the fuel tank area Seat was done by LB Upholstery in Wilmer LA.....he does mostly street rod stuff, but Ive gotten him to do every one of my trucks...hes the best in our area Got the Jute pad laid down elevel touchpad installed in the arm rest.....I had the Upholstery shop install a ChickenCityHotRods touchpad panel in the foam and then cover over it Had Joe Vincent of VincentDesigns in Baton Rouge do up a little memorial piece for my Uncle Sherman....he passed away not long after I returned home from deployment...he meant a lot to me and he is probably most responsible for my obsession with all things automotive Couldn't resist laying it out and just sitting the bumper up there to see what it would look like.... Got the trim on.....this just makes these trucks if you ask me this was about 3am a few days before sema...lol first time we sat the bed on....I almost messed my pants

Re: 65 C10 SWFS BBW "Clyde" @Poypeyes Rod Shop
At the exhaust shop
And finally this was the first time the truck seen daylight all put together and moving under its own power looked at it for about 5 minutes and then loaded it into the trailer for a 27 hour drive to vegas I had my buddy Tyler Dale from Rick's Restorations make me this kick ass hood prop the night before we rolled the truck in at SEMA And there I sat for about 3 hrs in the registration line for SEMA....notice the kickass bel air style emblems that Tyler made for me as well as my buddy and fellow club members Right hand drive bodydropped Tacoma with a 500hp LS3 under the hood. Here are a few more pics from SEMA and the SEMA Cruise Finished off the SEMA trip with a photoshoot for StreetTrucks and Slam'd Magazine in the dry lake beds. Heres a few pics of me and my girls in our local Christmas parade still have to fix a few things we overlooked during the mad dash, line up some panels a little better not to mention I still have a ton of other ideas in store for the truck and so far I've racked up 500 miles since SEMA....I'll be sure and update you guys when I can stop driving it and take the time to do a few more upgrades

Truck looks awesome, real looker. I know those guys at B&C that were admiring your truck when you loaded it up.

I took a few pics of your truck at SEMA. Very nice build and you nailed the color combo. Good work.

Re: 65 C10 SWFS BBW "Clyde" @Poypeyes Rod Shop
Chris isn't very active on here. But it got shot for C10 Builders Guide & StreetTrucks, also had a video shoot for SoloFilms Livin on Air Vol I. He drove it and enjoyed it and now a new owner in AR is enjoying it. We dropped off to him and went on North AR to see Clem where we picked up his new build Thunder Chief!
Right now he is stacking parts and waiting his turn on the frame table at Popeye's. |

. Thanks for the update - never thought it would've sold already though. Is he active anywhere else? Would enjoy following the Thunder Chief if there is a build thread somewhere. . . |
