Re: 62 long box frame off

I did not add the fuel injection.. I removed the TKO 600 trans and installed a heavily modified 4L80E. So i use a Bauman trans controller for that I am running a MSD 7730 power grid that controls ign timing, timing retards two steps gear change timing retard etc. and a NOS progressive launcher to keep both stages of fun in line. So it has several new electrical items but no EFI. The carb is a custom built AED 950 super mod . Out of the box carb it went 7.33 in the 1/8 working on swapping the 10 inch convertor out for a 9.5 as this one would only stall at 3500 I need 4400.. Pic is a 275 40 17 street tire vs the 295 45 17 drag radial .

Re: 62 long box frame off

Well its that time again.. Bought the Holley Dominator EFI system, will be dropping the comp ratio with new pistons and adding twin turbos.. Bottle has been fun but I am tired of filling it, and want it any time well I want it.. Gathering parts ... Truck has run great no complaints but want more fuel control and adding AC !!!!!!

Nothing huge power wise 1000-1050 hp range. Everything else drive train wise is more than up to the task. So thats the next step..

Re: 62 long box frame off

Sorry buddy but you can't saying "nothing huge power wise" and 1000+hp in the same sentence .

Looking forward to the EFI update, especially with a TT build. That's been on my roadmap to eventually build an efficient 350 that nets good MPG, but can also twist some power under boost. Looks like you're going more straight power route, but still awesome!
