Carpet kit?
Looking to get a carpet kit and was wondering what the differences were between different companies if any. Its been a while since the carpet has been in and I don't recall how far up the firewall they go. I want to put dynomat up the entire firewall but not if it will be visible. Another option is to have one made but I'm sure that won't be cheap. Please post pictures if you have any.
Thank you, |

Re: Carpet kit?
Trim Parts and ACC carpets are two of the big players in carpet. I have used both and think they are very similar in quality. The Trim Parts carpet I used was black for a 3 on the tree truck. It had approximately 10-12" of extra material that would easily go up the back wall behind the gas tank. Maybe the extra material(if you have your gas tank cab mounted) could be used to go up the firewall. I've used multiple ACC carpets ordered through Stockinteriors.com because there are endless colors, materials and finishes(cut pile, loop etc). They will even send you samples so you can make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. Also ACC carpets have a piping finish all the way around them.
