Saw this beautiful truck on the net and thought I'd share it with you guys. It sold for $32,400 at the Barret-Jackson auction. Its moving off a 460-hp 18-degree 350ci with a TH-400.

the angle of the intake and exhaust valves in relation to the head's deck surface is smaller than stock. a stock 350's heads are 23-degree. this basically allows you to have a higher compression ratio without going to domed pistons. from what i've heard, these heads give alot more power.

a drawback is you have to buy a special intake manifold to match the heads

the site doesnt give any more detailed information about the engine itself, so your guess is as good as mine about how they are getting so much power... does anyone else know any details about this engine?

I know the kids won't agree, but I think it would be much more beautiful without those oversize, ugly a-- wheels.!

Give me a nice set of Corvette 15" rallys w/interceptor caps!! Old technology, I know, but class will prevail!

Believe it or not, there is a truck that looks the exact same at Avondale Chrysler in Arizona. In the window it says it is a Barrett Jackson truck. I wonder if it is the same?

i like the wheels...if it was mine i'd go with stock grill, clear bumper lights and deluxe markers but it is sweet the way it is

i was watching that barret jackson auction i think , i watched em pull up a 70 swb that i dont think should have been there , i mean it was a nice lookin truck , just not youre common barret jackson truck , it had auto zone harley davidson floor mats in it and the door panles wre cut for speakers , there was a speaker in the driver side and the pass side speaker didnt even have a grille over it but the driver side did , it still brought 28,000

Now thats one nice truck, but I gotta agree with the rest of the guys, I just hate big @$$ wheels like that.. they look great on a vette, because the car is designed with big @$$ wheels in mind...but come on man! They look downright goofy on our trucks!!

Why so negative about the wheels?It's a classic 5 spoke style.
The wheels look great.
Looks is one thing but ride quality is another.IMO
