Re: 1978 Russet Metallic 4x4
Nope. I think it's something with the body.

Re: 1978 Russet Metallic 4x4
Looks like the adjustment rod hole for the clock is offset a bit from the '73-'80 dash. I'm ordering a '81-'87 instrument cluster plastic. I'll drill the '73-'80 plexi as a temporary solution. The clock works, which is nice.

Re: 1978 Russet Metallic 4x4
Got the front end dressed up. Hard to see, but the bumper was built with Hickey style hooks welded on the bottom. Kinda cool. Got the new stickers on the winch. New wheels are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Detailing this weekend.

Wheels are in. I'm waiting on the chrome trim rings to finish it up.

Are those narrower than stock? Don't get me wrong, they look great, but they look like they're not as wide or maybe the offset is different.

Re: 1978 Russet Metallic 4x4
16"x8" with 4.75" backspacing. Factory backspacing is 4.25". I've added 1" wheel spacers, so these are actually wider than factory by .5". Maybe it's the change from 15" to 16" that makes it look different.
