glove box w/air ?????

i just installed a new dash that has tha "air " vent in it,only probem is the glove box wont clear the inner plastic box ?? i know its the correct cardboard liner! 17" wide !! it just seems like the liner hits on the inner box ???anybody have any ideas ?

I belive there is 2 different types of glove box liners one for non AC and one for AC they are slightly different.

yes i know there is 2 sizes ,i tried the correct one for air BUT it still seems like the plastic air box is too big ? need to go double ck it/ also need to paint the glove box door and heater control plate to match dash and see if i can get all the other air conditioning stuff mounted to firewall /also need to mount a dash speaker in there and find some kind of after market am-fm radio ??
