67-72 4 wheel drive

Moderators,
I do not have this for sale. It is an Craigslist ad that I found a few minutes ago in Richmond. I would buy it if I didn't have too many vehicles already.

Not many things say death trap better than 44s and stock front drums. It has potential but in my opinion it needs a fair amount of work. 4,000 is a bit much for my blood. I can say im confident it's mega illegal to drive that in va because of the bumper height laws . My K/2500 Silverado was was pushing it when we put the lift on it 12 years ago.

Wow, never heard of bumper height laws. If they exist in this state, they certainly don't enforce them. You can buy brand new "monster trucks" from dealers higher than 10 inches.

Lots of states have them but they aren't always enforced.

Are you depressed or something? Hellassyeah! That's a kick butt truck for a hella good deal! $4,000? What are you going to get for that? 44s with stock disc brakes isn't much better. It'll stop. It's not exactly a commuter vehicle anyway. I know here in Maryland we have lift laws, but we also have historic and Street Rod tags... or if it's a 1t it doesn't matter. I'd slap some decent used 44s back on and bug around in it... until someone who wanted it more than me made an offer

Hey Wootdog, good to see you post

Re: 67-72 4 wheel drive

I didn't say it was a bad truck don't misunderstand me. Like I said before its definitely got potential, but there's some things I'd want fix before I turned it loose. And I would the way I sits I'd be a bit hesitant of driving it on the road. I'm completely down with the 44s, like you said it's not a daily driver. maybe Im sure its worth 4,000 to some but as it sits not to me.
