Yes it is factory. There are other pictures of them on the board. The heater delete parts are probably more rare than the truck....

That is one strange looking bed !! Wonder why GM would go to the extent of making a whole new design for Mexico ?

That's not all they did. South America got shortened Burbs akin to modern Tahoes and even avalanche style burbs.

That looks like the bed they used on the south american trucks. The cab looks like a U.S. Cab.

I really like the "Brazilian" or "south american" trucks. I know nothing about them but they have great lines.

I like how it looks. A 72 truck with 67-68 dash, steering wheel and hub caps. Weird drenched antenia on pass side????

Re: 72 c10 Mexico edition?

It's a GM bed made in Mexico. These shipped as cab and chassis.

Re: 72 c10 Mexico edition?

I took a extended trip into the interior of Mexico in 1982 and what I remember most was the different looking Chevy truck which weren't very old then.

If that bed was on a Ford they'd be asking "Who put the Chevy bed on?". Without the bed, the trucks were a low enough percentage of completion to avoid duties placed on imported products. They were considered parts shipments
