Street Rod Nats

Just returned from the Nats yesterday eve. Saw plenty of nice 67-72 trucks and of course forgot to take my camera with me! Hope others on this site weren't so forgetful and will post pics. LOL Talked with a few guys about tire and wheel combos they were running as I am in the market for a set. I decided on a set of Billet Specialties Heritage wheels but after seeing the price, $4000.oo for the set I just couldn't pull the trigger. My truck just ain't that nice!
Those old school Torq Thrusts are looking better all the time.

Re: Street Rod Nats

Im amazed at the money that gets spent on just tires and wheels these days. Used to be the budget for a whole build.

Maybe I talked to you one of those days? Seemed like everyone was sizing up wheels for a project vehicle. Myself included... was looking for something for my 32' ford. It's hard to feel good about $3000-4000 for wheels and tires.

Yes I did talk to you about your wheel sizes and your truck in general. You were very helpful and thanks again for that info.
Another fella I talked with was parked by the fountain in the circle. Had a killer red C10. He was also very helpful.
Oh by the way you have one fine 67!

Re: Street Rod Nats

I go to the Nats every year. Never have taken my 68, always take the street rod. A lot of good looking 67-72 trucks. I don't take photos. Too lazy I guess

Thanks!
The guy with the red C10 by the fountain is a really nice guy. I met him down at Goodguys Bowling Green last year and that truck is incredibly detailed.
