Take it to a Radio Shop that works on the older stuff, I was given a quote on a AM to be fixed and that bill went North of $175. So a AM/FM will be as much as $ 175 +++?. If you are Not going to have it tested then you don't want to here my Offer. I can buy a repop Brand New for what your original price was. They are nice when in working order but they are still just for looks. just my .02 cents.

Taking it to a Shop was for it to be a Certified test that goes a long way with selling something that you don't know any thing about. You could just hook it up/ bench test it with two 4 ohm speakers & a antenna, its not like its a AM radio that you need a 8-10 ohm speaker for it to work properly. The 4 ohm speakers are more readily available than the one for a AM radio. just saying

No I am not a Moderator. I just saw your post #8 saying make an offer & you want it gone, two people made an offer and No response from you but when your third offer came you jump on it. Just in my eyes it wasn't fair to the others. I also have seen others do the same thing but the majority of the sellers here give every body that offers something in his or here Thread a chance on the item whether the seller excepts the offer or not to me its Respect. I am a man of my word and would like to see the rest of the world do the same to there Brothers & Sisters. Sorry if you took it in another way.
