The 88-94 bench is the most easily modified to fit. You can cut down the side brackets and weld them where you want them and a good shop can cover them to look like it came with the truck. IMHO later seats lose the vintage feel (if you are going custom it doesn't matter.)
They have a thinner back and seat foam so you may get what you want without modifying the brackets. Good luck, Rg
