72 GMC interior colors

I've attached my SPID from my 72. I have a couple of questions regarding the interior. It appears my glove box color was originally sandalwood but the dash is orange. Was this normal to have two different colors?
Also, the column is sandalwood, would that mean the wheel would be the same?
I'm trying to get it back to stock but I think I'm going to have a heck of a time finding a sandalwood wheel!

Re: 72 GMC interior colors

In Parchment interiors, Chevy or GMC, the dash pad, steering wheel, column would be Sandalwood. Only fabric was Parchment. On all GMCs, the instrument cluster and glovebox dor were painted to match interior color. So, with Parchment they were done in Sandalwood.

Here is the blue interior in my white '72:

Re: 72 GMC interior colors

Thanks for the information. I guess I see why a previous owner painted the glove box door black. Sandalwood and orange might not suit everyone.

I think Sandalwood looks way better with Red Orange than Black

Re: 72 GMC interior colors

I wish I had an image of what it actually looks like. It's hard for me to envision it in my truck due to all the various changes that have been made.

Aftermarket wheel, painted glove box, re-upholstered seat, non-original carpet, different (black) dashpad. I've got a mess!!
