Front Grill

Am I correct to think that the grill for a 64-66 will fit anything from 60-66?

Looking at LMC and Classis parts websites, though only list 64-66 and I'm now questioning my believe they were all the same from 1960.

Re: Front Grill

I believe the mounting holes are a little different, but they will all mount using the outside perimeter bolts.

That being said, if you find a SHELL only, they headlight buckets are all different. 64-66 interchange, 63 is a standalone year. I cannot remember but I think 62 is the same. 60-61 buckets should interchange.

I'm sure someone will come along and correct me in a bit

Figuarus is right on ! And yes the 62 support assembly is a one year design.

Re: Front Grill

Thanks guy's.

So if I'm correct in reading what your saying, the 62 is different but I should be able to get the front grill for a 64 and make it fit.

I'm going to be looking for everything is grill, lights, light supports as my C10 came with a double headlight grill fitted but its in terrible condition. I didn't realise at the time you cant get them for love nor money and nobody makes a repro part.

Re: Front Grill

" make it fit " is correct. The grille supports are configured differently so you will most likely need to drill some holes and other minor modifications. I have never done it but it certainly looks possible. 64-66 grilles are easily found and affordable so I would give it a try. Good luck !!
