I went with a heavy duty version for a 72 and bought adapters from O'reilly's for the cooler. The lower retaining brackets needed to be moved out dn re-rivoted for the thicker core and the upper brackets had to be trimmed on the grinder. Another reason I screwed up getting everything powder coated before the test fitting of everything. Live and learn. Thanks for the compliment! Ditto on your build. Now I'm searching for a well fitting dual cooling fan set-up. Every car that comes through the shop that we pull the fans out of get carried over for a test fit. |
