Front sway bar 77 k10
I'm working on getting the frame cleaned up on my 77 k10, and making a shopping list of things that need to be replaced, or repaired, I noticed that there is no front sway bar. This truck is going to be my winter beater/shop truck. Is a front sway bar a must?

Re: Front sway bar 77 k10
It's not required, but some say helps some say it doesnt. Ice had mine on and off but I couldn't tell any difference. I had 4" lift on 35's with it and was fine. Without it was fine. Went to 40's on 11" of lift without and was fine. I also drive pretty cautiously with my old Chevy. My ranger is a different story lol

If you understand its gonna handle like a truck and not a car you can get away with out having one.

Re: Front sway bar 77 k10
I know a lot of C10's came without sway bars in this part of the country. I never thought about the K10's but they are probably fine without it. Sway bars don't work so well if you spend a lot of time off pavement.
