Another road trip, another truck... Go figure.

Was out bird hunting in the middle of north Dakota about a month ago. Saw a 70 gmc 1/2 ton 4x4 and tracked down the owner. That ended up being pretty rough, but the owner said "would you be interested in a rust free 67 I have out in the woods?" Needless to say I went back a week ago and hauled this home. Pretty beat up, and the mice have taken over, but lots of potential. 283 and 4 speed were pulled already and in pieces. (left them) Last plate of 01. Has a front sway bar and rear overload 1/2 springs.
Enjoy the pics.

You sure have knack for finding trucks and Blazers. Looking at the brackets on the front bumper at some point I bet it was dragged around by a tractor.

Re: Another road trip, another truck... Go figure.

nice find! even has the hub caps. i love that color.

is this a custom cab or base model with trim option? i've seen a couple other 67's with ss side trim but plain grille trim and vent windows. but not with the standard door panels and horn cap. i'm curious if anyone has more info, i am convinced it has to do with having the custom "comfort " but not "convenience " options (or vice versa). but i'm not sure...

Not sure if this helps or not but here's the spid for my 67 lwb big window truck. I have the same door panels and side trim as the op's truck with plain grill and vent trim.

I would bet you are right. I see a lot of vehicles hauled behind tractors this time of year out there.

Boy, if someone was building a 67, this would be a great parts truck. Sounded like no big deal to get a title. out there.

No spid label in the glovebox. (was there, now MIA) Looks to be a base truck. Has sway bar, 1/2 overloads, V-8 (gone) and gauges. The radio looks correct, but there is a delete in the glovebox also. The radio has deluxe knobs and the gauge cluster does not.

You have a knack for dragging home ND trucks! Where do you go bird hunting? Devils lake area would be my guess?

Looks like a base trim with the fawn interior. Love that Dark Turquiose. I could get used to owning that thing. You keep the hubcaps and I'll trade you a set of mag lug nuts

Usually stay in Harvey and work out from there.

This wont be a restore for me. I have too many others ahead of this. However I have a 283/glide in a 68 I am parting.......

I would, but the hubcaps need paint. Thanks for the offer though... Check out on the pics and you can see where it had the old lacquer paint blend repairs.
