Good one Tim! Harvest Gold appliances were the "in thing" in 72! My first 72 C-10 is ochre underneath the "pumpkin orange" the PO painted it..."Ochre" reminds me of flat beer...Yucky when its flat, but good stuff when it's sparking! Indeed a color that grows on you..."Like beer" an acquired taste... PS...I like my Okra fried or pickled, in that order please!

Re: Definition of 'OCHRE'

Are there multiple ochre colors? I only ask because there is wide variance in the pictures and in trucks I've seen. Some look school bus yellow and some more greenish. I have a 1972 Chevy van brochure with 2 colors that are indistinguishable by my old eyes. One is Spanish gold other might be dark yellow? Matt
I love them all

Re: Definition of 'OCHRE'

Isn't Ochre a fried side dish south of the Mason-Dixon Line? Oh, you mean the color. Hey, to each his own on color. I've had a few people tell me I should change the color of my truck, to "something more modern". I like Medium Olive, and I don't need those negative minded people around me
