How To Paint your truck thread

OK guys seen as i am a rookie when it comes to painting

i am gonna need the full steps broken down in layman's terms.

ok i have the outer old paint scraped off my truck, but for now have the old primer on in many places.

next spring i start to tackle the paint,

1= sand down the old primer

what i need to know is whats the best primer to apply 2k primer epoxy?
or what else just spray with a sandable primer?

need the full steps guys and grade of sandpaper between sanding, and

can i do one panel at a time method?, whats the cure times between coats

one coat of epoxy then a sandable primer on top?

thx all

Re: How To Paint your truck thread

here's a pic in her current state, body is in brilliant condition totally rust free, good canvas to work on.

detail work in spring to finish scraping paint will be done on all edges.

paint was so bad on this truck it was a shame, but thankfully the metal is brilliant.

Re: How To Paint your truck thread

any advice on best electric sander to use orbital one ?
or one that vibrates back and forth. i dont have air supply so i will be buying a electric one.

next summer i hopefully have access to a paint shop i can use,
but most of the prep work can be done at my location.
