Help with color on grille and bezels

I got a new grille and head light bezels for my 84 K10. They are the black color, primer, tight now. Mines painted through the center and has the chrome trim, what color do you usually paint the grille and bezels? Is it the color silver like you use on the wheels? Post some pics if you can, I want it to look nice even if I got to spend considerable time and masking on it. Going to take whats left of my old one out and see how much of the chrome trim I can use. Any pointers or ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes. Technically it is "Argent Silver", but I just use the same paint I use on my wheels.

Ok, that looks good. I checked, the paint I used on my wheels is argent silver.

I used whatever I had sitting around.

I wouldn't recommend it, as it changed colors once it got wet.

Here's what I used today. I just did the one bow tie so far. Don't know if I had a bad sprayer on the can, buy it kept spitting out blobs of paint. Going to try another can, hopefully it sprays more uniformly. But it looks like a good color to use.
I'll use some clear when it's done, to help with protecting the color.

Try the same can on some scrap, but try warming the spray can in med warm - to- hot water so the paint is over 75 degrees. Has been known to work well with the fine sprayers.

I've been salvaging truck & van grilles from local yards. I want to get some good parts together and restore them, to rebuild some grilles. Most of the time, the grilles are toast, but I get them anyways to remove all the trim parts.
