What is this part called? so I can get a

Replacement..

column shift, the lever on column in engine bay, that the linkage connects to, it has what looks like a plastic bushing , My bushing is awol. and don't know the "official " part name to look it up, not that I have not tried many wordings in searches ..

James you may find your local Chevy store with this on the shelf as lots of later vehicles had this setup. That is a rubber grommet with a steel bushing that fits inside it. U pull it will be a secondary source. Good luck.
