Picked this 68 up is it an anniversary truck?

Went and picked this one up for my cousin for $500 yesterday. Looked like a normal white 68 in the pictures until I actually went and picked it up. It has gold interior, gold dash pad, gold floor, but has white door panels, arm rests, and sun visors. Dont think the green seat is factory numbers matching lol. So I took it home and was just going to pressure wash off the build up stuck to the truck and the white literally was blowing off. Took it most of the way back down to the (what i assume is) original gold. From what I can tell this would make it an anniversary truck but is there any way to prove it? Heres some pics...

Once I take some comet and graffitti remover to it all of the grey primer is going to come right off. You can still see the original gold underneath the primer and patches of white paint still left on the truck. Should be a cool patina kinda. So do you guys think its an anniversary truck?

Yup sure is, the steering wheel gives it away.

551 paint code is the anniversary code, inside doors would be gold, yours probably were gold and someone painted white.white door panels were common with the anniversary package.I think yours is pointing in the direction of being an anniversary 68......cool....great price..

Looks like an anniversary to me!
Correct paint code on the spid and the truck has the right colors.

What engine? (my computer only reads pictures from thumbnails).
Mine has white door panels and has (what's left of it) white vinyl seat cover with some embossed pattern on it.

Not sure what engine. It has 1 short block and 1 complete engine in the bed. The previous owner said the short block is a 350 but he wasnt sure what the other one was but he thought it was original to the truck. Im going to assume its a 283

Awesome. When you say white door panels were common with the anniversary package does that mean that the anniversary could come with door panels other than white?

Re: Picked this 68 up is it an anniversary truck?

there are some old threads on the 68 anniversary trucks on here.I believe the door panels all came in the parchment white color on a true anniversary.

Re: Picked this 68 up is it an anniversary truck?

here's an example with spid. 551 gold/white anniversary paint with black cloth trim... i have seen a few so i don't believe it's custom ordered, but a factory option.
