72 C20 Custom Camper wheel bore size?

Ok, first off, sorry for starting a thread that may already exist on here, but I have already searched for the answer and cant find it, nor do I have the time to spend looking anymore. That being said, I have the opportunity to purchase a 72 c20 custom camper with a 350 crate engine and tranny with only 30k for about $3500. Ive been looking around for aftermarket wheel options and its apparently limited in the 8 lug arena, unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount on custom billet 2 piece, 3 piece, forged etc. Wheels.

My question is about center bore size. I've also tried binging the answer (you read that right. I dont use Google because they're government run, and tired of always hearing the phrase "just Google it" . Anyways, I can't find the numbers and measurements anywhere. I've seen posts where people asked the same question on here only for the thread to be hijacked, steered off course, and the question never really answered. Sorry for the frustration, but not really.

So, can anyone on here answer this question once and for all, "What is the center bore, or hub size for this specific year range truck?" And, if it has been answered before please post the link. Thanks everyone.

I don't have an exact measurement for you. By Custom Camper wheels do you mean the wide 8.25 x 16.5s that came with the 10.00 x 16.5 tire option? They would have the same center hole diameter as the others factory wheels. I do have one of those 8.25s I can measure. I know GM used a smaller diameter, so any 8-lug wheel fits.

Special k, ya I believe they are the 16.5. And that's good to know if you're saying all or most 8 lugs will fit. Its just a bummer there isn't much of a market for 8 lug wheels in the 5 spoke style like the Coys or Boyds. At least I haven't seen them if there is. Anyone know what make rims these are?

The thread linked below won't answer your question regarding bore size, but since you say you've "been looking around for aftermarket wheel options and its apparently limited in the 8 lug arena" it may give you some ideas about what's available and what many of us are using.

Nah, it's pretty much 1/2Ts can run car style wheels and 8-lugs run more their own design wheels. Some custom styles come in all lug patterns. Most 8-lug wheels are more substantial, or should me, for the heavier haulers.

Re: 72 C20 Custom Camper wheel bore size?

Ya makes sense. I guess would just have to go with something more expensive in the American Force lineup or something in that area for a sportier deep lip. And I guess ill have to get out the old Photoshop and see what they would look like since nobody has pics. Seems like not many 8 lug owners are going that route.
