Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
I will take a look at my radiator situation this week, I have an OEM 4 core Harrison that still even has the curved overflow nipple...that is leaking since my son decided to beat on some parts which he rested on top of the radiator prior to getting the hammer out...
can you tell I am irritated about this???? |

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
The pass side trim looks better than what I have now. How about the drivers side? Interested in the 5 pieces from the front doors back.
Thanks.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
Trim on driver side is missing. I need the door piece on the 3rd door. How about $10ea plus shipping on the 2 passenger side lower pieces on either side of the rear wheel.

Good price but will pass. Was hoping the drivers side was on there.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
The wheeltubs look nice, no real dents noted and not rusty. I guess these are welded in? Can you confirm? If you can post a picture of how you need the tubs and gas filler cut out.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
The bows seem to be fine. I posted a picture of one. Will get a bettter pic posted. How about$20 for the part plus shipping which I guess will be in a triangle formed piece of cardboard? How do you remove them, just in case there is some trick to it

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
I will remove that gate and weigh it tonight, shipping will not be cheap since its large and heavy, is bubble wrapped in a Styrofoam box and shipped via UPS ok for you? I am sure it will get there but unsure if that is enough to protect it to meet your needs.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
Roof rack pictures...first up is Wannabe68 then Hart Rod...
I have no Idea on what this is worth...lets say $50 plus shipping, where you gonna find one if you want one??? Chrome is checked and pot metal pitted, not terribly bad and I think is shown in the pictures. I think the roof protector strips are stainless. Last edited by randy500; 12-19-2016 at 08:23 PM. Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
Found the driver side behind the wheel well in the back of the burb...same price on this one...has some corrosion so you would have to strip the anodizing and buff it out. There is a thread here on the forum on the process.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
It does have the very rear shoulder belt plugs and the plugs for the rear door hinge holes. Dollar a plug plus small flat rate box?

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
Shipping on the tailgate alone is $144 with insurance. The tailgate is much nicer than I expected. Since you are the only one that has expressed interest it is yours at that price for a day or so and then I will keep it and relist it at a higher price. I think the roof rack should fit in the box for very little extra shipping. Shipping will be at actual cost on this since it seems everytime I get a time and cost quote when I ship it it is a few bucks extra...

Off the top of my head, I believe there are a couple of screws on the end of each bow that holds them in place.

Re: Parting '72 1/2ton 2wd Suburban
Paypal is best for payment, the tailgate is yours and I will take the roof rack off and see if it will fit in the box with the tailgate, I hope the length of it works into the same width of the tailgate. I will PM you with a total.
