i plan on doing gloss black on my grill, but i cannot find photos without the front bumper on to see where the tape line is! the fender line just kind of stops. just need a photo like this without a bumper on. i will not be doing side two tone either.

May not help but..... This is a 67 of mine before I painted the fender ears. Did 67's actually have a different color painted grill?

Was going to add this pic but exceeded my 30 mins. My bottom line is at the fender crease.

Grille, no. The whole '67 grille was also body color. Only the trim rings and the headlight bezels were in a contrasting color. The '67 trim rings were steel with a D shaped cross section. For '68 MY the grille got a contrasting color on the whole face and also trim molding on the fender edges and leading edge of the hood in a clear [silver] anodized aluminum. Headlight bezels were also this clear aluminum. '68 trim was not D shaped, it had some extra corrugations since the aluminum was a lot flimsier than the steel. GM never sold the steel D trim rings aftermarket, only the '68 type. There was kind of a run on the '67 rings at junkyards, since they took on chrome so well. Very rare now. [Also easily wasted if you clipped a shopping cart at 20 MPH.]

Some color patterns were RED/white, ORANGE/white, WHITE/blue, BLUE/silver, YELLOW/black, GREEN/white. That's all I remember.

A white chassis with the silver grill. Both factory paint with no color mentioned on the SPID for the silver.

Here is one more of the grill clip. If you blow the picture up, you can see the factory paint line with sharp corners.
