Long term you will not regret the 5 lug conversion. Kit is cheaper now, almost pays for half the cost of axles at least from ECE which I recommend.
I did the ECE conversion on my 69 that uses the drum brake tie rods and balljoints so in the future you just buy those parts for your car. It also uses cheaper easier sourced 5 lug rotors. And your wheel choices go up exponentially both in size and style. But like everything else, YMMV.
