steering box

I read something about putting a 2wd gear box on a 4wd. Are the 2wd's a quicker ratio or is this 1 of those internet things?

Re: steering box

For the lifted/offroad crowd, crossover steering can be a benefit. Instead of push/pull on the driver's side wheel, the crossover steering uses a draglink that crosses over to the passenger side, and THAT requires a 2WD steering box.
