Post what is a 72 3/4 front spring rate?

Anyone know what the front spring rate is in pounds per inch for a 72 3/4 ton truck. Also what is the unloaded length of the spring? I am lifting my truck with custom springs and I want to know what the stock specs are so I can decide from there on what I need. Thanks.

Well, I can't directly answer either of your questions but I can list my notes regarding what I measured and calculated for the springs on my 72 1 ton and compare to what you have now.
6 coils of 7/8th wire at 4.75 pitch and 5.5 OD equals 1591 lbs max safe load EACH, with each coil deflecting .188"/coil at max load.
I've been looking for bigger springs and the biggest so far are the originals. My wife's 77 crewcab duallie w/ 10,000 lb package has the same springs as my 7500 lb gvwr 72 duallie. Every 3/4 ton 2wd that has been through my yard (8) has spring wire diameter within .020" of these, and that could be corrosion talkin'. Don't have any coils loose to measure free height for you.
