Re: Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction

They said they auctioned 1700 cars this week, every time I looked up at the tv it was another c10. I wonder how many GM trucks changed hands.

The green c10 48 hr build truck. If you watched it sell, it looks like once that bidder hit 75g the auctioneer banged the hammer and sold it. It really looked like they wanted that guy to win it, lol.

You noticed that too. It hadn't stalled out far as I could tell. And on top of that have you ever seen a winning bidder carry on the way he did? It was a nice truck and all but really?

Re: Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction

Exactly! It's like he knows nothing about these trucks, they told him once he was the high bidder they would gavel down and he'd have an xxx$ truck. The whole auction was full of nicer c/k10's for less than half of that, way too excited for that truck at that $. When it was happening live I yelled out "it's rigged!" I rewound it about 5 times cuz I couldn't believe it.
